Student Roles Overview 🎓
In the Tilghman Island Broadcast Club, students will have specific roles that contribute to the overall success of each broadcast project. Here are some of the key roles and their responsibilities:

- Project Manager (2 students) 🗂️:
- Oversee the entire project from start to finish using club-issued Chromebook.
- Assign tasks to team members and ensure deadlines are met.
- Communicate with teachers and staff to coordinate resources and support.
- Technical Director (2 students) 🎛️:
- Manage the technical aspects of the broadcast, including camera operations and sound.
- Ensure all equipment is set up and functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the broadcast.
- Camera Operator (4 students) 🎥:
- Operate the PTZOptics cameras during live broadcasts.
- Ensure that the cameras are capturing the best angles and shots.
- Work closely with the Technical Director to follow the production plan.
- Sound Technician (2 students) 🎙️:
- Manage the audio levels and ensure clear sound quality during broadcasts.
- Set up and test microphones, audio mixers, and other sound equipment.
- Work with the Technical Director to balance sound levels.
- Graphics Designer (2 students) 🎨:
- Create visual elements such as lower thirds, title cards, and graphics for the broadcast.
- Use software tools to design and implement graphics.
- Collaborate with the Content Creators and Technical Director to ensure a cohesive look.
- Content Creator (4 students) 📝:
- Develop scripts, storyboards, and other content for the broadcast.
- Research and gather information relevant to the broadcast topics.
- Work with the Graphics Designer and Project Manager to create engaging content.
- Editor (2 students) ✂️:
- Edit video and audio recordings for post-production.
- Use editing software to create polished final products.
- Collaborate with the Content Creators and Technical Director to ensure high-quality output.
- Social Media Manager (2 students) 📱:
- Promote the broadcasts on social media platforms.
- Create posts, updates, and engage with the audience.
- Work with the Project Manager and Content Creators to ensure consistent messaging.
- Assistant (2 students) 🧰:
- Provide support to various team members as needed.
- Help with setup, breakdown, and general organization.
- Assist with any tasks assigned by the Project Manager or Technical Director.
